Problem:
Auf einem Laptop-Computer mit Windows 11 erschien immer wieder die Meldung:

McAfee - Viruses found (3) - Click Here To Renew Subscription

Der Benutzer des Computers hatte das echte McAfee installiert. Und das echte McAfee meldete, dass alles in Ordnung sei.
 
Lösung:
Es handelt sich nicht um das echte McAfee. Das falsche Programm benutzt ein Symbol, das wie das echte McAfee-Symbol aussieht. Nicht zahlen! Nur das echte McAfee oder ein anderes (echtes) Antivirus-Programm verwenden.
Das falsche McAfee-Programm entfernen:
- Start, Einstellungen, Apps: Programm deinstallieren (falls dort vorhanden).
- alle Browser: Verlauf (Cache) löschen und komplett zurücksetzen
  (z. B. Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari, usw.)
  vielfach ist eine Erweiterung installiert.
- Computer neu starten.
